ELECTRICAL HAZARDS
Duration: 3hrs.
This one-day awareness course provides participants with a basic understanding of electrical hazards related to low-voltage work and what is required to assess and control these hazards.
To obtain a certificate of completion for this program, participants must be present for the full program and achieve a grade of 70% or more on the written multiple-choice test.

- Electrical injuries;
- Safeguards;
- Lockout, tagout;
- Safe approach;
- Working on energized systems;
- Portable tools and extension cords;
- Temporary wiring and power;
- Other electrical issues;
- General electrical safety tips;
- Incident Reporting.
CERTIFICATION: Upon successful completion of the course, a wallet card and all necessary paperwork for each participant will be submitted to the employer as proof of training.
