Individuals will understand new rules for attributing criminal liability to organizations, including corporations, their representatives and those who direct the work of others.
This course covers: legal duties of employers, officers, directors and supervisors to prevent and manage workplace violence, types of liability for failing to protect workers from workplace violence and harassment; defining, identifying and assessing workplace violence and harassment risks. Participants will also learn about incident management and reporting, and how to conduct a workplace violence risk assessment, including drafting a workplace violence/harassment policy.
